RTCW CHOSEN AS THE CHARITY TO LAUNCH THE DAILY MAIL CHILDREN’S CHARITIES CHRISTMAS APPEAL

RTCW CHOSEN AS THE CHARITY TO LAUNCH

THE DAILY MAIL CHILDREN’S CHARITIES CHRISTMAS APPEAL

RTCW has been chosen by THE DAILY MAIL to launch their £1 MILLION Christmas Appeal to support children’s charities in the UK.  This is a wonderful opportunity for us, as 90 charities will each receive £10,000 with the opportunity of one lucky charity receiving £100,000  BUT WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR VOTES - WITHOUT YOUR VOTES WE RECEIVE NOTHING

IT’S EASY, ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS…

  • Collect 5 vouchers from the Daily Mail (1 each day) OR download 1 differently dated 'cheque' voucher per day from www.dailymail.co.uk then click the back button to return to our website
  • Send them together with your name, address, daytime tel. no. to the address provided in the paper
  • MOST IMPORTANTLY, include a few words (max 50) on why you would like to nominate RTCW.  You may submit as many entries as you like

YOUR VOTES ARE SO IMPORTANT TO US – calls are flooding in both on the Fundraising and the Wish side and although we are always looking for referrals it would be a disaster if this article caused a huge surge in wishes but we didn’t receive enough votes to gain a donation.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT…

IF You have a fund raising idea to enable us to make a dream come true please contact : Davina Nichols at RTCW  davina@rtcw.org

THEY’RE BACK FROM KILI!   Summit height: 19,340ft  Monies raised:  £42,000

Firstly, our thanks to the members of Batley RT who came to us over a year ago with the idea of committing their group to the Kilimanjaro Challenge and started the ball rolling.  Hopefully we will have a few more details shortly but everyone is back safely with two of the group extending their stay to take off on a safari.  Check out the write up in the autumn issue of Tabler.

Members of Guernsey RT have also set up a website so until more info comes through please visit the following link for more photos and details of the trip www.wavefromthetop.com . As soon as more photos and news come through from the members of Batley RT then we will certainly add them.  ’It was very tough’ is the comment coming back from everyone, even ’seasoned challengers’. Our sincere thanks to you all.
